Seasonal programs and equipment like snowshoes, cross-country packages, camping gear, ice augers, even FAT tire bikes for rent from BSU's Outdoor Program Center (OPC).

Nice Ride Bemidji offers flat fee by the hour, day or week for bicyles to anyone over 18, age 16-17 with a parent. These orange bikes are available at various locations, including the state park. If you have your own bike and it needs some simple fixing, check out the repair station in front of the public library.

Guided nature-lover boat tours, fishing charters as well as drop-off/pick-up services are available. Check with the bait shops, resorts, the OPC and Lake Bemidji State Park.

  4. Every first Friday of every month, Bemidji celebrates the works of regional artists at various galleries and restaurants throughout the city. Start at the Watermark Art Center. The Watermark Art Center is open all year. Their extraordinary galleries rival big city shows.
  5. Enjoy the Bemidji Sculpture Walk. Grab a map at the Chamber of Commerce Tourist Information Center.
